I may have had what felt like the most intense first year as a new parent (our traumatizing NICU experience immediately followed by the busiest wedding season I’ve ever known basically shaved ALL THE YEARS off my life), but I’m 100% certain that I got to work with the sweetest, most compassionate couples last year, whose generosity actually moved me to tears, and both Luke and Emily were no exception to this.
You may remember Luke and Emily from this Moss Beach engagement session, and I felt their warmth and good energy from across the parking lot, before we even started shooting on this day. I learned that while they’re obscenely attractive (amiright?!), they’re also the absolute nicest people on the planet, and have the most fun-loving personalities and definitely do no take themselves too seriously. I was so excited to see them again for the “Big Day”, and they were just as laid back, relaxed, and smiley as I had remembered them, and had not a single care in the world on that day, other than marrying their favorite person.
Luke and Emily’s wedding day was so aesthetically stunning, and I love how the location and scenic, San Francisco backdrop served as the main decor, and how the details were rooted in a modern meets classic theme. I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful wedding to wrap my 2017 season, AKA “The Year I survived!”. Cheers to this sweet couple who I instantly missed the second their wedding day was over, thank you for trusting me to do my thing.
